A Celebration of Giving Back
Evening Of Gratitude
The College of Veterinary Medicine hosted a very special evening February 21 to bring together donors and the students their gifts have impacted, as well as to celebrate topping the $1 million mark in total financial student support. The event, entitled an “Evening of Gratitude,” gave current and planned giving veterinary scholarship donors a unique opportunity to meet and talk with some of the young men and women their scholarships actually support. Those scholarship funds are critical to providing CVM access to many students who otherwise might find it difficult to attend, allowing more students to meet their lifetime goal of improving life for both animals and humans.
“We truly appreciate what our donors have done, are doing and will be doing for Auburn and the College of Veterinary Medicine.”
– Diana Turner
Auburn College of Veterinary Medicine Director of Development Diana Turner said, “We thought there was no better way to say thank you and show our donors how their gifts have transformed our students’ lives so positively.
“It was also a great way to celebrate topping $1 million in total support for our students,” she added. “We appreciate all of our scholarship donors for making this possible and sincerely appreciate their ongoing commitment to our students’ success. They should all take great pride in knowing their support is critical for opening doors and creating life-changing opportunities for our students.”
