WILFORD S. BAILEY DISTINGUISHED ALUMNUS AND CLASS OF 2010 YOUNG ACHIEVER AWARDS

The College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking nominations for the annual Wilford S. Bailey Distinguished Alumnus and Class of 2010 Young Achiever Awards.

Awardees will be selected by the Awards Committee of the Auburn Vet Med Alumni Advisory Board in recognition of their outstanding achievements to the veterinary profession, and honored during the 2020 Annual Conference in October.

The candidate must be a living alumnus of Auburn’s College of Veterinary Medicine who holds either a professional or advanced degree. The nominee should be known for his or her accomplishments in veterinary medicine, and/or have made an outstanding contribution to his or her community and the advancement of animal and human health.

Nomination materials submitted for the Class of 2010 Young Achiever Alumnus Award must include:

  • Nominee name, title and class year
  • Current mailing address
  • Email address
  • Daytime phone
  • Educational and/or professional training
  • Current and previous professional activity
  • Professional and educational organizations
  • Participation in civic, community or other organizations
  • Honorary societies and/or special awards
  • Name, mailing address, email address and phone number of nominator
  • Overview statement of why you believe the nominee is a young achiever

Young Achiever nominees must be a member of the Auburn Vet Med Class of 2010 to be eligible for the 2020 award.

Eligible nominees for the Wilford S. Bailey Distinguished Alumnus Award must fall within one of the following professional categories:

  • Academia
  • Private Practice
  • Other, Research and Public Policy (including government, industry and/or military service)

Nomination materials submitted for the Wilford S. Bailey Distinguished Alumnus Award must include:

Nominee name, title and class year

  • Current mailing address
  • Email address
  • Daytime phone
  • Nominee’s curriculum vitae including:
    • Educational and/or professional training
    • Current and previous professional activity
    • Professional and educational organizations
    • Participation in civic, community or other ganizations
    • Honorary societies and/or special awards
  • Two (2) letters of support
  • Name, mailing address, email address and phone number of nominator
  • Overview statement of why you believe the nominee is a distinguished alumnus
