Bailey Small Animal Teaching Hospital

Save Pet Lives with the Patient Emergency Treatment Fund

$46,105

230%
Raised toward our $20,000 Goal
328 Donors

Pet emergencies aren’t only stressful for pets and their owners—they can also be costly, catching owners unprepared for the financial burden. Sometimes grant funds may be available from outside agencies, but they can take days for application processing and often can’t be used for emergency care.

This Tiger Giving Day, Auburn Vet Med raised funds to help offset the cost of emergency treatment when small animal owners need financial assistance. The Patient Emergency Treatment, or PET, Fund will continue to provide financial assistance for our clients who cannot afford emergency care for their sick or injured pet.

Canine Performance Sciences

Build a Puppy Splash Pad for Auburn Dogs-in-Training

$30,880

123%
Raised toward our $25,000 Goal
279 Donors

Canine Performance Sciences puppies work hard training for their mission to help keep us safe. In return, we show them lots of affection and ensure they have plenty of play time. One thing their breed loves is water, so this Tiger Giving Day we raised funds to build them a doggie splash pad right here on the Auburn College of Veterinary Medicine campus.

Being able to provide a secure, controlled environment outside, with the water their breed enjoys most, is a perfect enrichment opportunity for our Auburn Dogs™-in-training.

Auburn University Raptor Center

Have a Seat at the Raptor Center

$25,565

102%
Raised toward our $25,000 Goal
295 Donors

So many of you enjoy watching our majestic raptors perform at the Edgar B. Carter Amphitheater that we are running out of room!

Our average attendance for these educational presentations exceeds our seating capacity by over 150 people. Whether you enjoy “Football, Fans and Feathers” in the Fall, or “Wing Fling” in the Spring, we want to ensure that all of you have a great seat.

The funds raised this Tiger Giving Day 2023 will be used to purchase additional seating for the amphitheater so we can share our message with many more and continue to grow the traditions that are truly Auburn.

The Gene Machine

Fight Breast Cancer with the Gene Machine 2.0

$26,445

105%
Raised toward our $25,000 Goal
104 Donors

Community engagement is the key to the Gene Machine team’s success, enabling our researchers to step outside the laboratory and interact with the community members who are at the heart of why we do what we do.

This Tiger Giving Day, the Gene Machine team raised funds to help purchase Gene Machine 2.0: The Next Generation.

This new, more reliable automobile will allow the Gene Machine team better access to rural Alabama communities to continue our mission of ensuring that our sisters, daughters, wives, moms and friends have a fighting chance against breast cancer.
